A Note about the word "Guild" Yes I am very aware Guild seems to be a roleplaying term. However, it's just another fancy word for group, coven, circle, mass, flock, herd, pack, Entourage, Clan, House etc. It shows that members have banded together under a certain interest and belong to that establishment. Here we are DARK DEVELOPERS who make horror, emo, goth, dark, vampire products. Not a place to role-play on, but its ok to show off Role play products. IMVU is also a chat, and an instant messenger and is not just a RPG chat, allthough people RPG on the program. Thank you...
Welcome to our humble little forum and guild.
This is not a forum to roleplay vampires and the likes on. It is a place for the darker developer (goth, vampire, horror etc) to discuss tips, tricks on imvu and help others who may have need of it, offer template help and design help and things of that nature. We are listed with several real vampire search engines because some of us are real vampyres. You may see our views in the Dark Paths forums. If the dark side of life bugs you, either keep an open mind or feel free to leave. There is no reason for you to feel threathened.
If you want to sign up for IMVU you can click the IMVU ad in the affilate section. I am also a vampfangs affilate and hot topic affilate. Vampfangs sell more than just fake teeth. They are a life style resource and an aesthtic, but like I said they sell more than fangs, claws and contacts. They have allot of vampire themed jewelry and products. Have an open mind and take a peek.
If you sign up for imvu by my link you will be auto-added to my buddy list, and i can help you out if you have problems. The client calls for hi speed users: broadband, wifi, cable, dsl, 56k, satelitte. It is not made for macs. You can be anything you want and interact in a 3d enviroment. The client is a bit slow but its not a virus. You can not download viruses from the imvu software. It is allot like habbo hotel, secondlife and gaia online, but much better. Those are rpg games.
You only rpg on imvu if you want too. Its a chat and instant messanger. We have allot of vampyre members, and tons of vampyre products. There are also furries and a big furrie product community, dragons, cats, wolves and more. Anything is possible on imvu. You can even buy your avatar name and get more credits, the more credits you have the more you can buy: clothes, hair, scenes, rooms, furntiture! It's endless possibility. This is NOT a roleplaying Guild, clan or Coven or any such nonsense. ANA DON'T RPG!!!!!
I believe in real vamps - I hold the belief I am one (see the dark spiritual forums) and I don't rpg on IMVU and I definiately do not rpg my vampyrism. That is an insult. Real vamps do not look kindly on roleplayers.
Now that being said. IT IS OK TO MAKE ROLE-PLAYING PRODUCTS. They are High in demand and if some roleplayers happen to come and chat here so be it. But this is NOT a role playing forum or Guild. It is Real Time chat and forum posting, we are gathering together because we all share the darkness in common with one another and IMVU as the other interest and the other as a Chatter there or a developer.
Yes there will be a button advertising you are a blood tears guild member, but its just a way to advertise our forum. That can't be to much to ask now can it?
